MONORAL in Mexico! Confirmed

The rock band MONORAL, because of the throwing of their new album "Via", they will be into Latinoamerica tour since the last days of november until the middle of december, and one of their destinations will be MEXICO.

We invite to all of their fans and also asiatic music fans to support this presentation, because with this we can give good references on supporting of this events and we will take it off the "spine" and the image of all of us.

About MONORAL:

MONORAL is a band of japanese rock formed on 1999 by their two members, Anis and Ali, the met on the radio program that Ali prsented on MTV in 1997. Their first job was the mini-album IN STEREO released on 2001 to the same time that they get into FujiRock festival of Japan. The song Goobdye included on this came in the firs places of the InterFM list.

They were getting into music world with colaborations with another musicians like Fumiya Fuiji, LISA, Apollo69, MONDO GROSSO, etc. doing lyrics, music or acting on events loke BUBBLE FESTIVAL join HYDE and Sons of All Pussys on 2003. THeir second mini-album AMMONITE was releades on march 2004, arriving directly to position mumber 3 on Tower Records Indie list and maintaining on the Top50 about 7 months. All of their songs until the moment are writed on english and produced by Hyde label: HAunted Records and later on VAMPROSE.

On 2005 MONORAL gave to big steps, the released to their first complete album Petrol ad later their debut single, VISIONS IN MY HEAD. KIRI was composed on 2006, openning of Ergo Proxy anime, song that gave to them international fame and the posibility of new releases into iTunes plataform. One year later they released a second single TUESDAY and a second album TURBULENCE, finishing with all around Japan tour, The Magical Turbulence Tour 2007.

Passing some months in ausence, MONORAL anounced on 2008 the released of CASBAH, a new song into iTunes and also a otur called MONORAL CIRCUS TOUR 2008 realized on summer. Into concerts they also performed openning some concerts of VAMPS and announce also the participation in all the concerts organized by they laben VAMPROSE, the ROSE NIGHT event. Actually they released their last album VIA, and announced a Latin America Tour, includding MEXICO, Chile, Argentina and Brasil like their destinations.

Sugizo and Juno Reactor, together in Mexico and USA

Sugizo is an important japanese musician, he has been an active member of diferent bands and also an amazing solo artist. Part of his career as a guitarist and violinist was with the band Luna Sea, actually is working on S.K.I.N., this band was created by Yoshiki from X-Japan, that is iactive for the moment.

Beside that Juno Reactor is a british band that mixes electronic, orchestral and global music. This band is important because of their music on Matrix(including videogame) and Animatrix; also in the movies "Eraser", "Virtuosity", "Lost in Space", "Romeo+Juliet" trailer, 1999 movie "Boewulf" and even in "Upon once time on Mexico".

Usuallt Juno Reactor plays with the collaboration of musicians of all over the world; in this ocassion they will play with the collaboration of Sugizo on guitar and violin. They will open their presentations on International Festival Chihuahua, Mexico.

Carnival of L’arc is breaking boundaries

Finally the big day was coming for L’Arc~en~Ciel and J-rock fans in Mexico, arrives on July 27th 2008.

10:30 a.m. – The Staff Of Asia Times Mexico, sponsors and bands arrived to the place of the event, “El Circo Volador”. For our surprise, there were about 30 people, waiting for the beginning of the event, some of them were here since 8:00 a.m. for the tickets.

12:30 - They warned us that the tickets were sold out!!! The 400 tickets that we done!! So they enumerate one hundred more tickets. The time was running quickly, the hour of entry was at 1:00 p.m. and the asistants were anxious to get into, but it was until 1:40 that the people was allowed to entry. Rapidly the place was getting to the top and it started with a projection of L’Arc~en~Ciel 15th Anniversary. Everyone was exiting and begun to sing “The Fourth Avenue Cafe” and “Caress of Venus” , this gave step to the first band: ¡Kurotsuki! Formed by: Keyboards: Juan Carlos Pardiñas, Bass; Juan Carlos Velásquez, Drums: Abiú Cabrera, Gruitar: Hugo Pardiñas, Guitar: M. Cabrera and Voice: JOyce Moñoz.

Showing a great talent, they interpreted: "Flower" and "Jiyuu e no Shoutai" of L’Arc~en~Ciel; "Cassis" from The Gazette, "Velvet" of Alice Nince and "Bonds ~Kizuna~" of An Café.

Finishing their presentation, we gave the welcome to the Staff of Asia Times Mexico, which objective is supporting to all the fan clubs, forums, Mexican comunities and bands, focus on asian culture, the manager of this is Nohemí Hernández.

Likewise, it was presented 3 affiliated bands: L’arc~on~Fire, Gasara and Kakkoii. From this last one Chris, the vocalist, show his great talent interpreting to capella “My Heart Draws a Dream” of L’Arc~en~Ciel. Later the first raffle of a MP3, from Puchico’s Coffe, sponsor of “Carnival of L’Arc”

Later the second band of the event Shokora played some songs, this band is formed by: Guitar: Yasuhito Hisaki, Guitar: Keiki Tanamachi, Bass: Yoshimichi Yoshikai, Drums: Francisco Flandes, Keyboards: Kenji Tanamachi and Voice: Junichi Yoshikai. They played their own songs and covers of L’Arc~en~Ciel and they gave 2 signed discs of their production “A un año de vivir”.

And for surprise to our public Kakkoii get into the stage, generating a big euphoria, showing their great talent like a band, they interpreted “Honey”, “Shout at the Devil” and “Read Steady Go” thems of L’Arc~en~Ciel, when the band was leaving the stage, the public asked for another song: “Ibara no namida”.

To close the band presentation Multicolt Maple, formed by: Guitar: Daniel Drums: María Meza and Vocal: Magdalena Preciado. The placed: “The 4th Avenue Cafe”, “Blurry Eyes”, “Dive to Blue”, “Stay away”, “Diver’s High” and “Pretty Girl” of L’Arc~en~Ciel and "God Knows" of Aya Hirano.

To close the “Carnival of L’arc”, the contest of Cosplay begun, it has 12 contestants, into the grupal or individual categories. The judges were one member of each band, a member of Asia Times Mexico and one member of El Circo Volador.

The awards were delivered by Keiki Tamachi, Shokora member, the places were:

3rd place: L’Arc~en~Ciel group, presenting Awake Tour - Gume Telcel shirt and Chronicle 3 of L’Arc~en~Ciel.

2nd place: Carmín Quiroz representing Ayumi Hamasaki in the video of Mirrorcle World – Gume Telcel shirt and Live Documentary Photographs of Theater of Kiss.

1st place: Daniel A. Luna representing Hyde on Seasons Call – Gume Telcel shirt and a cell phone with a value of $1000

The asistants can come to the stands of: ExpoComic of Poder Joven, Belver papelera, Proud Fan Club, Shokora fan club, VAMPS Mexican Street Team fan club and Harajuku.

To the end we had good criticizes of the asistants and mass media attendees. We hope that this will be one of the many events that this agency organizes, with the help of the clubs and fans comunities. Go for something bigger!

Funny note: someone passed to the market befote the “Carnival of L’arc”, because there were seized 2 kilos of potatoes, maybe this person wanted to cook inside the event ;D

The "Circo Volador" is leaving the station of the meter “La Viga” of line 8 (green line of Constitucion 1917 to Garibaldi):

• There if they come from Pantitlán, they take line 1 until Chabacano and from in direction of Constitucion 1917

• If they come from the north, Ciudad Azteca, lowers in Garibaldi and takes direction of Constitucion 1917

• If they come from Indios Verdes, they lower in Hidalgo, they take line 1, they lower in Bellas Artes and they transfer towards Constitucion 1917

• If they come from the south, Tasqueña, lowers there in Chabacano and of in direction Constitution 1917

• Line 8 crosses: line B (silverplated and green - Buenavista to Ciudad Azteca), line 1 (pink - Observatorio to Pantitilán), line 2 (blue - Cuatro Caminos to Tasqueña-), line 4 (Santa Anita to Martin Carrera) and line 9 (coffee - Tacubaya to Pantitlán-)

Asia Times Mexico, has the honor to present to the new band affiliate, Miraaji. Original of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico; this band is composed by Daniela (voice), Daniel (under), David (guitar), Gabriel (battery), Elizabeth and Jose.

Arisen in June 2007, Miraaji it impels the taste of Japanese music through the musical influences of: Luna Sea, L'Arc~en~Ciel, Dir en Grey, The Pillows, Siam Shade, Malice Mizer, Lareine, Dué le Quartz, Pierrot, Janne Da Arc, Baiser, among others; this band is dedicated to play a musical style of J-rock and videogames.

We obtained it, finally we are registered in the Korean embassy!
Our passage really that was hard. Monday of this week we went towards the Korean Embassy with our letter request for our fan-club.
The problem was that we lost ourselves horribly. I took the car of my mother, in we went Krizz, Ivonne, Shey and I (forsanostra) handling. I just a short time take of to have learned to handle, so he was something nervous, so that it did not know the streets and the zone by which we went, so we lost ourselves like by 2 hours.
We were so lost that in one of those, we had a shock. Luckily it was plus the scare that the damage of the girls and the car. Only Ivonne, that went to the front with me, and I was those that we hurt, now we must use collar by three weeks. We were something scared.
With rain, mud and everything, finally we arrived at the Embassy. But they did not let speak to us with the Cultural Aggregate. We leave our documents and we were ourselves all apesumbradas. Finally they gave appointment us for today (11 of July). We took to Mr. Kim a rich pie and one better folder to him with the data of the club, our projects, and a very pretty album of photos that Kriz armed.
They made us happen to a conference hall where we exposed everything about our club. AND BY AAAAAAAND! They now said ALREADY BE to us REGISTERED IN KOREAN EMBASSY! Jejejeje, we will have to celebrate this in event ATM! So please send us much many letters!

With respect to the news of the KBS
A Korean friend of Shey, was saw the one who us in the News of the KBS. He says to us that he left in the news article on Popular Korean Culture Exhibition in Mexico. In the news they presented to us like true lovers of Korea. Since we're those that we shouted and we applauded whenever our favorite actor in the projection left. Also they showed to us when we effusively rose and we applauded the group of Korean folk music.
They presented us like the MEXICAN OFFICIAL FAN-CLUB OF DONG BANG SHIN KI, and brilliant admirers and lovers of this group. And if they said the name of our club: Proud fan-club! They mentioned that inside this full event of diplomacy, was something really refreshing and cheers the fact that we were thus and we reacted of that form.
We are looking for the form to obtain the video to postear it here. Apparently this cut news programme spent Tuesday of this week in Korea, and according to there is a 80% of which DBSK has seen the news article since KBS NEWS is the news programme more seeing back in Korea. FIGHTING PROUD!

Asia Times Mexico, agency of information and diffusion of the Asian culture, in their work to create an alliance between the forums, fan clubs and communities of the Asian culture in Mexico, first fruits begin to render his.

The past week we received a mail of Proud fanclub, a group of fans Mexican of the Korean group of DBSK (Dong Bang Shin Ki), in which they requested the affiliation to us to ATM:

We are Proud fanclub, a relatively new group of fans lovers of group K-MGP DBSK ((with successes in the world of J-pop obtaining twice consecutive the first place in the Oricon Chart and known in Japan like THSK)), we would very enormously like to affiliate to us with you, since our greater interest is to manage to bring them to Mexico and to extend a little plus the vision and taste by Asian music.

At the moment more girls of the Republic to us have been united. This project was born from ours first meeting, in which we were only 3 Reps). With this we managed to animate to more fanatics to be united and ours second meeting had 11 girls more jejejeje.
Proud fanclub, has several plans of promotion for dbsk in Mexico and we finished celebrating ours third meeting the last week, in honor to the recent birthday of one of the members, with a total of 30 girls totally of rose crossing the streets of the Zona rosa and sostiendo our red globes proudly, (official color of fans of dbsk in Korea and Japan).
I hope they consider us to affiliate to us and that in the future could have the possibility of providing a space to us in its events: D: D We wished much luck them in all goals and hoped to maintain a near contact with you. Beforehand thank you very much of its attention and we will be in favor to the slope of its answer".

Proud fanclub, is the second club affiliate that has ATM, after Vamps Mexican Street Team. At the moment we have deal with some Asian clubs more of idols, as well as with bands of that musical style.

ATM has as it puts main, that this organization can serve to bring to Mexico Asian artists (actors and musicians), to realise presentations and coexistence with Mexican his fans.

Greetings dear visitor,

You will wonder yourself what is Asia Times Mexico (ATM). In order to begin, I want tell you that we do not have any relation with some community or site of Internet.

To Mexico it has been indicated to him like a people country who has a great lack of support to each other, a divided country and egoistic. One has said that the Mexicans we are practically incapable to help us to an a others to leave ahead and to achieve objectives in unit; one says that we are individualistic beings and who do not matter to us “to squash” to who is to our side with so obtaining what we want, and unfortunately great part of the Mexican mentality is thus.

However, also we are people able to obtain great intentions and I put, we have the quality of being perseverantes and until obstinate when looking for realising our plans. And if to that perseverance we added the unit to him, we will be able to do of this society that achieves common aims.

Thinking about it he was that Asia Times Mexico was created, which must like vision be an alliance between the forums, clubs and communities focused in the Asian culture fan, with the purpose of to create a information agency which it serves as it connects between this alliance and the Mexican public who identifies itself with the same.

Our mission like diffusion and information channel, is to offer to support to this alliance in the direction, logistic and production of events; offering references them like: places of spectacles, calendar of these places, prices of equipment of sound and lights, musical costs of impressions, groups, et cetera. This with the purpose of to facilitate the accomplishment of events that are of quality for the public who likes of the Asian culture.

Also, we want to offer support to the independent bands by means of management, to serve to them like platform as promotion within the same alliance and in this way to expand the knowledge of its music. This way we want to obtain as it puts main, that this organization can serve to bring to Mexico Asian artists (actors and musicians), to realise presentations and coexistence with Mexican his fans. We give the welcome you and we invited to you to that you comprise of this project.
